Website Redesign

Your website is outdated. Your rankings do not have to suffer.

We redesign slow, dated, and hard-to-update business websites into fast, modern sites — and we migrate them carefully so the Google traffic you already earned comes with you.

Redesign without the risk

A new site that keeps what works.

  • We audit your current pages, rankings, and inbound links before changing anything.
  • Every old URL is mapped to a new one with a proper 301 redirect.
  • Content that already brings in traffic is kept and improved, not thrown away.
  • We check Google Search Console after launch to catch problems early.

Signs your website needs a redesign

A redesign is worth it when the site is costing you customers, not just because it looks a few years old. These are the problems we see most often.

The site looks broken or tiny on a phone.
Pages take more than a few seconds to load.
You cannot update text or photos without calling a developer.
Your services, prices, or team have changed but the site has not.
Visitors land on the site but rarely call or fill out the form.
The site was built on a platform or theme that is no longer supported.
Google shows a 'Not secure' warning or the SSL certificate keeps expiring.
Competitors with weaker businesses look more professional online.

What a redesign includes

A redesign is more than a new look. We fix the structure, speed, and messaging problems that keep the current site from producing leads.

Pre-redesign audit

We review which pages get traffic, which keywords you rank for, and which pages other sites link to, so nothing valuable is lost.

URL mapping & 301 redirects

Every old address points to the right new page. This is the step most redesigns skip, and the main reason sites lose rankings after launch.

Speed rebuild

Compressed images, lean code, and modern hosting so pages load quickly on mobile connections.

Mobile-first layout

Most local customers find you on a phone. The layout, buttons, and forms are designed for small screens first.

Content rewrite

We tighten your service descriptions so visitors quickly understand what you do, where you work, and why to choose you.

Clear calls to action

Click-to-call buttons, short quote forms, and contact options placed where visitors actually decide to reach out.

Why redesigns often lose Google traffic

The most common redesign mistake is launching a new site with new page addresses and no redirects. Google still has the old URLs indexed, visitors and search results hit 404 errors, and rankings that took years to build can disappear in a few weeks.

Other common causes are deleting pages that were quietly bringing in traffic, removing text that answered what searchers were looking for, and leaving the new site blocked from search engines after it moves from staging to live.

We treat the migration as its own project: crawl the old site, record what ranks, map every URL, and verify the redirects and indexing after launch.

Redesign or start over?

If your site has a good domain, some rankings, and useful content, a redesign that keeps those strengths is usually the better choice. If the site gets almost no traffic and the content is thin or outdated, a fresh build may be faster and cheaper.

We tell you which approach makes more sense after reviewing your current site, before you commit to anything.

You own the finished website

Many businesses come to us because a previous designer controls their domain, hosting, or login. On a redesign, we make sure the domain, hosting account, and website files are in your name, so you are never locked in.

How a redesign works

  1. Step 1

    Audit

We review your current site, traffic, rankings, and what is and is not producing leads.

  2. Step 2

    Plan

We agree on the page structure, content changes, and the URL redirect map.

  3. Step 3

    Build

We design and build the new site on a private staging link for your review.

  4. Step 4

    Launch & monitor

We launch, apply redirects, submit the sitemap, and watch Search Console for errors.

FAQ

Common questions

How much does a website redesign cost?

Our custom websites start at $1,200. The final price depends on the number of pages, features, and integrations you need, and we give you a written quote before any work begins. Ongoing website maintenance starts at $250 per month.

Will redesigning my website hurt my Google rankings?

It can if the migration is handled poorly. With a complete redirect map, preserved content, and post-launch monitoring, most sites keep their rankings and often improve because the new site is faster and better organized.

Can you keep my existing domain name and email?

Yes. Redesigning the website does not require changing your domain. We update only the website records and leave your email records alone so email keeps working.

Can you redesign a WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace site?

Yes. We can rebuild a site from any platform and move the content over. We will recommend whether to stay on your current platform or move, based on how you want to manage the site.

How long does a website redesign take?

Most small business redesigns take a few weeks, depending on how many pages you have and how quickly content and feedback come back. We give you a timeline after the audit.
