New Office & Office Moves

Your new office, working on day one.

Opening a new office or moving to a new space? We plan and set up the technology — internet, network, WiFi, computers, copiers, and email — so your team can walk in and start working instead of spending the first week troubleshooting.

One team for the whole move

Network, WiFi, computers, and copiers.

  • Plan the network before the furniture arrives.
  • Business WiFi that covers the whole space.
  • Computers, printers, and copiers connected and tested.
  • Email, files, and security set up properly from the start.

Office move IT checklist

Most move-day problems come from steps that needed to start weeks earlier. These are the items to plan first.

Order business internet early — installation can take weeks.
Check where network jacks, power, and the equipment closet are.
Plan WiFi coverage for every room, not just the front desk.
Decide where copiers and printers will go before move day.
Update your address and phone details with your providers.
Back up computers and files before anything is unplugged.
Label equipment and cables so setup at the new office is faster.
Test printing, scanning, email, and phones before staff arrive.

What we set up

We handle the pieces that small offices usually have to coordinate across several vendors.

Internet & network

Router, firewall, and switches configured for your office, with room to grow.

Business WiFi

Access points placed for full coverage, with a separate guest network.

Computers & workstations

New computers set up, existing ones moved and reconnected, and user accounts ready.

Copiers & printers

Copiers installed with network printing and scan-to-email working on every computer.

Microsoft 365 & email

Business email, shared files, and Teams set up or moved without losing data.

Security basics

Strong passwords, multi-factor sign-in, backups, and up-to-date devices from day one.

Start with the internet order

The most common office move delay is the internet connection. Business internet can take several weeks to install, especially if the building needs new wiring. We help you choose a service and get it ordered early, so the network is ready when you need it.

Opening a new office

A new office is the best time to set things up correctly: a proper business router and firewall, WiFi that covers the space, company email on your own domain, and backups that run automatically. Fixing these later usually takes longer and costs more.

We set everything up and document it — passwords, network details, and who to call — so you are not dependent on one person's memory.

Moving an existing office

For a move, we take stock of your current equipment, back up important data, and plan the order of disconnection and setup. Where possible, we set up the network at the new location before move day so your team only has to plug in and log on.

FAQ

Common questions

How early should we plan IT for an office move?

Ideally four to eight weeks before the move, mainly because business internet installation can take several weeks. Smaller moves can be done faster if internet is already available at the new location.

Can you move our copier to the new office?

We can set up your copier at the new office, including network printing and scan-to-email. If your copier is leased, check your lease first — some leasing companies require their own moving service.

Do you set up offices outside Orange County?

We mainly work with businesses in Orange County and nearby Southern California. Contact us with your location and we will let you know if we can help.

Can you work with our existing computers and equipment?

Yes. We reuse what is in good shape and recommend replacing only what is outdated or unreliable.

Opening or moving an office?

Tell us your move date and how many people are moving. We'll put together a plan so your office is ready on day one.
